Why “The Dream Guider”?

At first, I wanted to be the hero, the one who amazed, impressed, and stood in the spotlight. But over time, I realized the true magic happens when the spotlight shifts to the audience. In this article, I share why I chose the name The Dream Guider and how it reflects a deeper mission.

At first, I wanted to shine…

Like many performers, I started magic with one desire: to be seen. I loved the applause, the reactions, the admiration. And yes, for a while, I wanted to be the one in control. The one who knew, who surprised, who stood in the spotlight. It wasn’t about ego, it was about finding a place where I could matter. And for a long time, that role gave me confidence.

But something inside me felt out of sync…

Even as my performances improved and the audience grew, I started feeling a subtle discomfort. There was something unnatural about always being “above” the experience, like I was holding the story instead of living it with them. The more I tried to impress, the more distance I felt. And slowly, I understood: I didn’t truly want to dominate the moment. I wanted to offer it. I didn’t want to control the emotion. I wanted to awaken it.

The shift from performer to guide…

That’s when the name The Dream Guider came to me. Not as a branding move, but as a reflection of what I was becoming. I no longer needed to be the hero. I wanted to be the one who guides the hero’s journey, the one who opens a door, then steps aside. Like a silent presence, invisible but essential. Like Gandalf, who doesn’t fight the battle, but gives others the strength to step into it.

A name with meaning…

Choosing The Dream Guider was a way to make that intention public. It’s not a title, it’s a reminder. A commitment to stay grounded in what really matters: the audience. Their emotion. Their wonder. Their inner story. Today, every time I perform, I remember: I’m not here to impress. I’m here to invite. To open a space where, for a few minutes, the impossible feels personal and the moment becomes magical.
